護理暨健康福祉學院簡介
國立暨南國際大學與埔里基督教醫院依循「愛鄰如己」以及「互惠共榮」之精神,攜手共同推動「偏鄉健康與長期照護人才培育計畫」,於112學年度開辦護理暨健康福祉學院。大學與醫院雙方秉持「全人關懷、專業卓越、國際視野、在地服務」之教育理念,致力培育具備人文素養、臨床實踐能力與創新思維的健康照護專業人才。埔里基督教醫院作為學院之教學醫院,透過臨床實習、課程協作、研究合作與師資培育,雙方建立穩固的教育夥伴關係。
學院目前設有護理學系(包含原住民族專班)以及高齡健康與長期照顧管理學士學位學程原住民族專班,課程涵蓋基礎護理、臨床照護、社區健康、長期照護、心理健康及跨專業整合等領域,強調理論與實務並重,培養學生面對多元健康需求的專業判斷與關懷能力。
埔里基督教醫院提供臨床教學場域與實務支援,使學生能在真實醫療情境中培養專業能力與關懷精神;學院則整合教育與研究資源,結合醫院醫護人員作為校內師資,推動偏鄉健康促進與長照服務創新,實踐「大學進入社區、教育服務社會」的使命。
護理暨健康福祉學院立足埔里、放眼國際,持續深化教學創新與跨領域合作,培育具全球競爭力、倫理關懷與社會責任的護理及健康照護專業人才,期能成為促進偏鄉醫療、健康福祉與永續社會發展的重要力量。
About the College of Nursing and Health Wellbeing
In alignment with the spirit of “Love your neighbor as yourself” and the principle of mutual benefit and shared prosperity, National Chi Nan University and Puli Christian Hospital jointly launched the Rural Health and Long-Term Care Talent Cultivation Program, leading to the establishment of the College of Nursing and Health Welfare in the 2023 academic year. Guided by the educational philosophy of holistic care, professional excellence, global vision, and local service, both the University and the Hospital are committed to cultivating healthcare professionals who embody humanistic values, clinical competence, and innovative thinking. As the College’s affiliated teaching hospital, Puli Christian Hospital collaborates through clinical training, curriculum co-design, research partnership, and faculty development, forming a solid and enduring educational alliance.
The College currently comprises the Department of Nursing (including an Indigenous Student Program) and the Bachelor Program in Gerontological Health and Long-Term Care Management for Indigenous Students. Its curriculum encompasses fundamental nursing, clinical care, community health, long-term care, mental health, and interprofessional collaboration, emphasizing a balance between theory and practice to foster students’ professional judgment and compassionate care in response to diverse health needs.
Puli Christian Hospital provides authentic clinical learning environments and practical support, enabling students to strengthen their professional competence and empathy through real-world medical experiences. The College integrates academic and research resources, while engaging hospital healthcare professionals as adjunct faculty, to advance health promotion and long-term care innovation in rural communities—fulfilling the mission of “bringing the university into the community and serving society through education.”
Rooted in Puli and oriented toward the world, the College of Nursing and Health Wellbeing continues to enhance teaching innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. It is dedicated to nurturing healthcare professionals with global competitiveness, ethical compassion, and social responsibility—becoming a vital force for advancing rural healthcare, community wellbeing, and sustainable social development.
